How to use this calculator

Use this online timer for focused work, study sessions, cooking, exercise, presentations, or any task that needs a clear browser-based countdown. Choose a classic bell, digital beep, soft chime, or silent visual alert. The timer uses a real target time so returning to a throttled tab does not lose elapsed seconds.

Steps

Choose hours, minutes, and seconds or select a quick preset.
Select and preview an alert sound, or choose Silent.
Start the countdown, then pause or resume without losing the remaining time.
Keep the page open for the visual completion alert when the timer reaches zero.

Does the timer keep counting in another tab?

The countdown is calculated from its target end time, so it corrects itself when the browser slows an inactive tab. A fully suspended device may delay the alert until the page resumes.

Does Hypercalcs save my timer?

No. The duration and countdown state remain in your current browser page and are not stored in an account or sent to a database.

Why might I not hear the alert?

Browser sound, device vibration, silent mode, power saving, or a suspended tab can limit alerts. Keep the page open and volume enabled for the best result.
